Mauricio Flor was born and raised on the coast of Ecuador where he fully enjoyed exploring nature and playing outside with his friends, his 3 younger brothers and his father. His mom was a very respected Ob. Doctor and her push for education were instrumental in his passion for learning and striving forward into a science-based career. Upon moving to the U.S. at age 17, he took on a quest to discover new possibilities both in his own health and fitness and also getting to relate with his new neighbors and friends. This led him to connect with his passion in Human Health and Sciences and for helping others in his community.

Katie Flor is an all-round great athlete and coach – with a core foundation built on her five years as a student and two years as a 1st degree black belt instructor in martial arts she learned the cornerstones of success: determination, commitment, and perseverance. Katie strives to push her clients towards their specific goals while building upon their individual strengths and closing the gap on their weaknesses. Katie’s training as a Group Fitness Instructor in Strength and Conditioning, Indoor Cycling, Barre, TRX Circuit Classes and Zumba have added an element of fun to her work outs. Because of her love of teaching and her experiences watching women struggle with exercise and body awareness, Katie decided to become a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This certification gave her the knowledge and foundation to become a world-class trainer.

Jennifer has always had a passion for athletic competition and fitness, competing in tennis, soccer and volleyball in high school. Her passion for sports, strength and conditioning training and any kind of sports competition led her to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2010. Her professional training as a fitness coach combined with her background as a competitive athlete allows her to offer unique training for clients to maximize weight loss, improve their movement patterns and enjoy sports and life activities to the fullest. Her favorite word is “Fun” so get ready to sweat, laugh, play and have fun whenever she coaches group classes or private one-on-one workouts!
